State social workers deemed there was an "immediate risk" to the safety of the children under care at the center.
Disturbing Incidents And Violations Continue To Surface
- A child was dragged by their legs by a staff member inside the facility
- Video footage shows a staffer grabbing a child's arm, causing them to drop a microphone
- Children have been physically restrained on the gym floor
One child was left crying in a dark closet before being released.
An investigation revealed three critical safety violations, including inadequate supervision.
These incidents add to a long-standing pattern of failure. Previous state investigations uncovered:
- 7 Type A violations (the most serious safety infractions)
- 10 Type B violations that could become dangerous if unaddressed
